On Thursday 23rd Reception children will be taking part in Elmer day, so they are invited to wear multicoloured clothes to school to celebrate 35 years of Elmer. We welcome the rest of the children to wear comfy clothes for Book Trust and can bring their favourite book to school, to share with their peers. £1.00 donations will be going to our charity of choice.

Earlsdon Primary School

As you are aware members of the National Education Union (NEU) are due to take industrial action across the country in relation to the national pay agreement and how this should be funded by government, rather than by schools. The proposed dates for strike action by NEU members are:
• Wednesday 1st March 2023 (West Midlands)
• Wednesday 15th March 2023 (National)
• Thursday 16th March 2023 (National).

We are currently in the process of assessing the impact that industrial action will have on staffing levels at our school on these days. As was the case on 1st February, it is possible that full or partial school closures may be necessary. You may wish to consider making alternative childcare arrangements for these
dates as a precautionary measure, even though they
may not be needed. We are working closely with our NEU colleagues to ensure we are updated with the most accurate
staffing information and will write to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your support and understanding during this challenging time
