On Thursday 23rd Reception children will be taking part in Elmer day, so they are invited to wear multicoloured clothes to school to celebrate 35 years of Elmer. We welcome the rest of the children to wear comfy clothes for Book Trust and can bring their favourite book to school, to share with their peers. £1.00 donations will be going to our charity of choice.

Earlsdon Primary School

Sunday 21st March is World Down Syndrome day. We would like to support this day and celebrate diversity by asking
the children to wear a pair of colourful, bright and unique socks to school-as 21st March is a Sunday we will be moving this to Friday 26th March this year! Wearing colourful socks helps us to appreciate that people with Down Syndrome have an extra
chromosome (21st chromosome). In school we will be celebrating diversity throughout the week and learning that chromosomes make each person unique. We hope
that all of the children will support this event– we are looking forward to seeing their colourful and unique socks next Friday. Thank you for your support
