Earlsdon Primary School

Junior Leadership

Welcome to our new Junior Leadership page. You will now notice that our School Council, JLT and ECO have all been allocated their own tabs and pages.

Earlsdon Primary Junior Leadership Team (JLT)

Alongside our School Council we also have our Earlsdon Junior Leadership Team. The JLT is an ideal opportunity for more children to have a voice and play an integral role of the running and organisation of the school. The children have the opportunity to apply for the role that they feel best suits them, and the school. It is aimed for Year 5 and 6 children.

As well as our JLT and our School Council, Earlsdon Primary is happy to announce that this year we are also part of the Coventry Young Ambassador Programme, which means a handful of our specially trained pupils are able to represent our city and school at a range of cultural and sporting events.

Junior Leadership

What a busy couple of weeks it has been. Our Year 5 and 6 pupils have been busy completing their application forms, have been interviewed and appointed various roles around our school. You will see them wearing their lanyards.

We have some EYFS leaders who have been welcoming children in a morning and taking them to their classrooms. As well as lunchtime leaders who help the children with their coats and hand washing.

We have School Ambassadors, who have been supporting all children on the blue doors in the morning.

We have our Curriculum Leaders who have been supporting Mrs Howells with our new reading book system.

Our House Point Captains, who have met their teams and will be counting up the tokens for each class.

Our ECO Team, who will be completing our action plan and starting to think about some of the changes that we can make this year, including their litter picking duties.

Our Digital Leaders, have started supporting Miss Wale with the upkeep of the iPads and laptops within school.

Our playground leaders have been supporting Mr Gascoyne at lunches by supporting football and ping pong.

They are doing a great job and we are very proud of them!
