| In October, some pupils in Year 2 and Year 6 took part in a City of Culture design competition. Their brief was to design a shop window that reflected their hopes for the city in the future. We were thrilled to learn that Mili in Year 2 was the overall winner of the Key Stage 1 competition and that architects will be using her design to create a city centre shop window early next year. Many congratulations also to Lucy for coming second in the Key Stage 1 competition and to Elmas for coming second in the Key Stage 2 competition. We are very proud of the children for this fantastic achievement. |
