Earlsdon Primary School

We are very pleased to be taking part in Coventry Arts Week. We will be participating in a number of city-wide opportunities as well as taking part in opportunities offered by some of our local partners. Please look out for a separate letter providing more information.

Activities will include:

• Art workshops with Katie O

• Year 4 ukulele concert at Butterworth Hall

• Year 5 singing concert at Butterworth Hall

• Motionhouse circus skills workshops

• Participation in city centre outdoor performance of Lady Godiva the Musical

• Workshops with Ascension Dance

• City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra on-line workshops

One of the highlights of the week will be the Festival Booknic (reading picnic) that will take place on Saturday 28th June from 11am - 3pm in the War Memorial Park. We are hoping that as many families as possible will join us there. There will be a schools' parade starting at 11.15am and we welcome all our children to join in with this. After this there will be a wide selection of free activities including author and illustrator workshops, a giant book swap, circus skills, tennis, skateboarding workshops and much more.
