Lateral Flow Tests Following advice from Public Health England, primary school pupils and children in nursery settings are not included in the asymptomatic testing programme. However all adults without coronavirus symptoms in households with school age children can now access regular rapid COVID testing. Please follow the link below: https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests Please note that parents should not be using lateral flow test if they have coronavirus symptoms or if they have been told to self isolate.
Public Health England are advising that primary school children should only be tested if they are symptomatic. If your child shows any COVID-19 symptoms please do not use a lateral flow test; parents should follow the guidance and book a PCR test for their child.
