Earlsdon Primary School

Thank you for your patience as we try to establish new routines whilst working within the guidance of the COVID
risk assessment.
From Monday the new reception children will be starting school full time, which means that there will be more
children and adults on our site at the end of the school day.
Morning routines
 We will continue to open the gate at 8.40am so the children can wait on the path rather than on the street
outside school.
 At 8.45am the children will start to go into school and parents should continue to walk around the school
building exiting through the car park. The gate will close at 9am.
Routines at the end of the day
 At 3.05pm we will open the gate and ask parents of reception children to queue next to the school building.
Parents of Year 1 and Year 2 children should queue next to the school fence and collect their children from
the playground.
 Children from Year 3– Year 5 should be collected from the playground at 3.15pm.
 Please help us by collecting your child/ children and leaving the site promptly, following the one way system.
 If you have collected a younger child and are waiting to collect a child from Key Stage 2, please stand close to
the school building so that the walkway around school remains as clear as possible.
We continue to follow the LA and Public Health England advice and ask that parents help to keep our school community safe by wearing a face covering on the school site. Thank you for your ongoing support.
