Earlsdon Primary School

We were delighted to welcome Coventry’s Bishop Sophie Jelley to school this week. Bishop Sophie is the tenth Bishop of Coventry since the modern Diocese of Coventry was established in 1918. She has made history as the first woman to be Bishop of Coventry.
Bishop Sophie enjoyed meeting the children and learning about our work. She was particularly inter-ested in our peace education programme and our Schools of Sanctuary work.
We were able to share with her the importance of developing our children as responsible members of the community.

Earlsdon Primary School Values

  • A culture is strong when people work with each other, not for themselves. Simon Sinek
Equality

Challenge
  • Come to the edge. We might fall. Come to the edge. It's too high! Come to the edge. And they came, and he pushed, and they flew. Christopher Iogne
Resilience
  • Resilience comes from the Latin word 'resalire', which means springing back.
Responsibility
  • You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make. Jane Goodall
