Earlsdon Primary School

It’s World Book Day on Thursday 6th March. We work hard to promote a love of reading for pleasure throughout the school year and will be celebrating this national event with a range of activities. We want to give parents plenty of notice as the children have asked to dress up as book characters. There is no expectation that families spend money buying costumes– please encourage the children to make a costume. If you have any dressing up costumes that your children have outgrown and they could be useful to other families for World Book Day, please send them into school. They will be gratefully received and will be displayed on the preloved uniform rail in the entrance area. Thank you During World Book Day we will also be holding a 50p book sale so the children can buy some new books to enjoy at home. Please help by donating unwanted picture books, chapter books, novels and comic. Please send any donations into school by Monday 3rd March. Thank you for your ongoing support
