We are inviting the children to support the 2021 BookTrust
pyjamarama on Friday 14th May by coming to school wearing their pyjamas (for safety reason we would like the children to wear shoes and not slippers) and bringing their
favourite bedtime book to school. We would like to participate in this national event to help raise money for the UK’s largest children’s reading charity. BookTrust is dedicated to getting children reading and each year reaches 3.9 million families, providing books and support to help get children started on their reading journey. The pyjamarama event aims to raise the profile of reading as well as fundraising to make sure that every child gets their bedtime story.
We hope the children will be eager to support this event in school by wearing their pyjamas and bringing their favourite bedtime book to school on Friday 14th May. If you feel able to, we would also like to encourage families to donate £1 to BookTrust to support this charity to help all children to have access to bedtime stories. Thank you in advance for your support and please put the date in your diary!
