Earlsdon Primary School

Welcome back to another busy and exciting term!
We were delighted to feature on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire this week as they put a spotlight on how we use produce from our allotment in our school meals. This
followed news that there is going to be a drive to improve school dinners nationally. We have had much positive feedback about our approach to healthy eating.

It is only a couple of weeks until the May Bank Holiday (4th May) when we traditionally open our playground for
a range of free sports tasters, allotment and PTA stalls and craft activities. If you are able to volunteer on this
day, even for half an hour, please let the office staff know. The event will run from 10am—2.45pm. We will be continuing to develop our extensive programme of learning outside the classroom. This includes 3W taking part in a Shakespeare performance at The Belgrade; Year 4 visiting Cadbury World; Year 5 going on a residential visit to Rough Close; children attending a singing workshop at King Henry’s; Reception going to Hoar Farm; pupils going on a sustainability visit to Spain and much more!
