Earlsdon Primary School

It’s World Book Day on Thursday 6th March. We work hard to promote a love of reading for pleasure throughout the school year and will be celebrating this national event with a range of activities. We want to give parents plenty of notice as the children have asked to dress up as book characters. There is no expectation that families spend money buying costumes– please encour?age the children to make a costume. If you have any costumes that your children have outgrown and they could be useful to other families for World Book Day, please send them into school. They will be gratefully received and will be displayed on the preloved uni?form rail in the entrance area. Thank you

Earlsdon Primary School Values

Respect
  • A culture is strong when people work with each other, not for themselves. Simon Sinek
Equality
  • In diversity there is beauty and there is strength. Maya Angelou
Challenge
  • Come to the edge. We might fall. Come to the edge. It's too high! Come to the edge. And they came, and he pushed, and they flew. Christopher Iogne
Resilience
  • Resilience comes from the Latin word 'resalire', which means springing back.
Responsibility
  • You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make. Jane Goodall
