  • Pumpkin Soup Night

    We would like to say a huge thank you to the allotment committee and our PTA for arranging a wonderful pumpkin soup night with the official opening of our new learning pod. We were
    very pleased to welcome so many of the funders who contributed to the pod. It was a fabulous evening with over 100 people attending. We would like to say a special thank you to Mr
    Colvin for using our pumpkins to make an absolutely
    delicious pumpkin soup. Congratulations to Aiken for correctly guessing the weight of the pumpkin. We hope you enjoy
    making your own pumpkin recipes!

  • Celebration assemblies

    We have been delighted to welcome parents to our new celebration assemblies where we have been able to award certificates to children for fantastic learning and for following our school rules at all times. It has been lovely to hear about their respect, kindness and resilience. Our new assemblies will take place once every half term and you will be invited to the assembly if your child is going to receive a certificate.

    There has been a buzz of excitement around school this week. The Year 5 and 6 children have submitted their applications for various roles, short interviews have been held and some appointments have been made!


    Good luck to all of the children with their new positions of responsibility.

  • National Winner!!

    On Tuesday we were very excited to welcome a special visitor to our allotment. Celebrity gar-dener Huw Richards surprised Class 4F and our allotment leaders by arriving to present us with a national award for our allotment project. We have won Junior Top of the Plots, a competition run by Gardena and the National Allotment Society. As well as a magnificent trophy, we have won a lot of new gardening equipment and a new watering system. We are very proud of all the hard work that our pupils, families and wider community put into our school allotment. Thank you to everyone.

  • Phonic meetings

    On Monday 13th October we are holding two phonics sessions for parents of children in Year 1.


    The first session is at 9am and this is repeated at 2pm.


    These sessions will help you to support your child with early reading and we strongly recommend that all parents in Year 1 attend.


    Thank you to the parents who have already signed up for a place.

  • Street Take Over

    Fri 03 Oct 2025

    On Monday evening 12 pupils from Year 5 and 6 took over the running of The Street restaurant on Earlsdon High Street. They welcomed customers; took orders; served food and drink; made desserts and listened to custom-er feedback. The restaurant was fully booked and there was a great atmosphere. All customers praised the pupils for their professionalism and great customer service. We are very grateful to The Street for their support with this project which included training the pupils, supporting them on the night and donating profits to the school. We have a final takeover night on Monday 6th October. There are a few final tickets remaining. Contact our school office.

  • Pumpkin Party

    We are holding a Pumpkin Party at our school allotment on Friday 10th October from 3.30 pm- 5.30pm. We will be serving soup made from the pumpkins grown by the children and there will be fun activities to join in with. We will have the official opening of our new learning pod. A group will be walking up from the school playground at 3.20pm. You are very welcome to walk with us.

  • Celebrating Black History Month

    October sees the start of Black History Month. We will be using a range of teaching resources across school to explore black history, heritage, culture and achievements. These resources include a range of quality texts and picture books. .

  • Malvern Show

    We are delighted that allotment pumpkins grown by the children won third place at the prestigious Malvern Show.

  • UNESCO awards

    On Tuesday our allotment leaders were invited to attend a UNESCO awards ceremony where they were very pleased to accept first place on behalf of the school for a film about our allot-ment project. Judges included artist Sir Antony Gormley, Hugh Quarshi and Andrew Hochhauser. The prize money will be used to buy equipment for our new community kitchen. We would like to say a special thank you to Paul Lumsden for doing the filming and editing.
