  • GO PARKS

    Tue 11 Jun 2024

    Go Parks: Active Schools Chal?lenge returns this Sunday! This time it will be celebrating the Olympic and Paralympic Games with a Paris 2024 Special from Sunday 9 June – Sunday 7th July 2024. Those who take part earn points for each scan, and these points can be given to a chosen Coventry school. Schools are grouped dependent on their pupil numbers. The schools with the most points in their group on Sunday 7th July will win. There are spot prizes for residents to collect along the way, as well as pop-up taster activities in parks with the opportunity to try out new sports for FREE.   • P.E kit

    We would like to request that the children wear plain navy or black shorts/ leggings or jogging bottoms, a plain white t shirt and a plain navy or black sweatshirt/ hoodie to school on their P.E day. To prevent the added costs of buying additional clothing, we would like to suggest that the children wear their school t-shirt and school sweatshirt or cardigan as their P.E kit. We would also like to ask that they refrain from wearing sportswear with logos– the only logo the children should be wearing is the school logo. Thank you for your ongoing

  • International Picnic Day

    As part of the school's Go Parks commission, we have been asked to run an Olympic/Paralympic themed tennis event at Spencer Park. We will be running various tennis activities from 3.30pm - 6pm on Tuesday 18th June. This coincides with International Picnic Day, so please come and join us with your picnic!

    Well done to our Coventry Young Ambassadors who were involved in the 'takeover' day at St Mary's Guild?hall. They took over the running of this beautiful historic building and offered visitors guided tours, crafts, activities and a warm welcome!

    Congratulations to the pupils from Year 4 who represented the school at an orienteering competition on Tuesday and to the Year 5 pupils who represented the school at a HADO tourna?ment on Wednesday. Well done to our Year 5 and Year 6 boccia team who represented the school last Sunday at a tournament in Cheltenham. All of our pupils demonstrated the school values and we were very proud of them.

  • EON imagined future project

    Mon 27 May 2024

    We were invited to work on EONs Imagined Futures project and 11 pupils helped to paint a fabulous mural in Fargo Village. This depicts a sustainable Coventry with a focus on many of our key areas of learning. Katie O praised the pupils for their engagement in this project and for their exemplary behaviour.

  • Paralympian Visit

    We were delighted to welcome Ashley Facey to school last Friday. Ashley has represented Great Britain in the last two Paralympics and is hoping for a place in the Paris 2024 squad. He led an inspirational assembly for Key Stage 2, a masterclass with our table tennis team and he also led PE lessons with Year 6.

  • Sports Day 12th July

    Fri 17 May 2024

    We are looking forward to holding Year 1– Year 6 sports day on Friday 12th July. The event will start at 1pm and will be held on KHV111 school field again this year. Please put the date in your diary.

    The reception children will enjoy a separate sports session on the playground on a separate morning.
