We are planning to take part in an art competition using bottle tops to create a collage linked to plastic pollution. Over the next few weeks, please help us by collecting used drink bottle tops from squash, water, milk bottles etc. and sending them into school where Mrs Andrews and Mrs Dooley will be gathering them together ready for the children to use.

The 1st March celebrates St David's Day, the anniversary of the death of the patron saint of Wales. This day also marked Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day in England, as pancakes use up all the rich foods before Lent. Elsewhere it is known as Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday), and is a time for carnivals and fairs.
Our Coventry Young Ambassadors joined with 20 other Coventry schools for an action-packed training day. They are now looking forward to representing the school and the city at some of the major events that will be taking place this Summer and beyond.
We were very pleased to take a group of pupils to see Romeo and Juliet at the Royal Opera House during half term. Our pupils and staff had a fantastic day and the children were a great credit to our school. It was a super experience!
Thank you for helping us to support the 25th World Book Day. The children thoroughly enjoyed visiting and buying a book from the book sale and their outfits looked wonderful on Thursday – we also had the opportunity to discuss lots of new vocabulary! In addition the children enjoyed their class visit to Earlsdon Library.
