  • Attendance

    Wed 20 Dec 2023

Unfortunately we have seen an increase in the amount of children arriving late to school in the morning. We appreciate that morning routines can be more challenging as we approach the end of term and the mornings are cold and dark, however it is very important the children arrive in time for registration at 8.55am. The school gate opens at 8.40 and closes at 8.55am. We would like to encourage all families to arrive at school as close to 8.40am as possible as learning activities start before registration. The Governing Board have been reviewing attendance data and have updated the Attendance Policy in line with local and national guidance. A copy of the policy can be found on the school website.

  • Welcome Commtitee

    Wed 20 Dec 2023

Thank you to our Welcome Committee who arranged a special party for all children who have recently joined our school community. All children enjoyed decorating gingerbread hearts together. The Welcome Committee also spent time at Earlsdon Library preparing for their welcome visit this Friday.

  • Christmas Celebrations

    Wed 20 Dec 2023

Mr Kumar and our catering team will be serving Christmas dinner on Wednesday 20th December. We will also be inviting the children to wear Christmas jumpers to school on this day, but would like to request that parents do not buy a jumper for this event. We welcome donations of Christmas jumpers that children have outgrown and will hang these on the preloved uniform rail in the main reception when we receive them. If your child does not have a Christmas jumper they can wear clothes in Christmas colours or a party outfit they do have. As parents have very generously supporting the PTA chocolate tombola and also the Cheylsemore Food Hub reverse Advent calendar collection, we will not be asking for a charity donation on Christmas jumper day. On 20th December the Reception children will be visiting Earlsdon Methodist Church to learn about the Christmas story and on Thursday 21st December Year 1– Year 6 children will be walking to St Barbara's Church for a Christmas assembly
