  • National Awards

    Other very exciting news is that we have been nominated for Primary School of the Year in the National Teaching Awards and
    that have been shortlisted for a senior judges' panel interview.
    This week the children have been busy helping us to make a short
    film to showcase all the fantastic learning and opportunities at our school.

     

  • Coventry United

    We were delighted to welcome some players from Coventry United Ladies Football team to join our assemblies on Monday. The players shared their own experiences including when their
    talents and passion for football started and the teams they have played for during their careers. We are very pleased to be supporting our local football team this weekend. Coventry United LFC have generously offered Earlsdon families a 25% discount on tickets for this Sunday's match at The Butts at 2pm. Please enter the code EARLSDON25 when you buy

  • ECO Update

    This year the ECO team identified healthy eating and food choices as one of the areas that they would like our school to concentrate on. The School Council and ECO team have been
    working with Mr Kumar our school chef. The children have been gathering menu and meal ideas from all classes, they have met with Mr Kumar and have answered some likes, dislikes and
    thoughts. They have submitted their ideas which have been reflected in our Spring Menu. The self-serve salad cart in the dining room if filled with fresh vegetables that all children can add to their dinner choice. Below is a website which families may find useful:

  • Ramadam

    The Islamic holy month of Ramadan begins on Wednesday 22 March. Ramadan is a very important time in the Islamic calendar and Muslims all over the world will be preparing to take part. During the month of Ramadan, Muslims won't eat or drink
    between dawn and sunset. This is called fasting.

    Mrs Andrews and Mrs Bollands were very honoured to go to the Houses of Parliament this week to receive Earlsdon's International School Award. We have received this prestigious accreditation for all the international learning opportunities at school. Well done to all pupils and staff!

  • Mother's Day Pop Up Shop

    Thank you to all of the families who support the pop
    up shop and thank you to the PTA for all of their hard
    work in organising it. The children thoroughly enjoyed
    visiting the shop on Tuesday and we hope that they
    enjoy giving their gifts to a special person on Sunday!

    Former pupil Charlie McCrum, a graduate at JCB, returned to Earlsdon Primary last Friday. We are delighted that
    he planted a com memorative tree to celebrate National
    Apprenticeship Week .

     

  • Coventry United Women's Football

    Wed 22 Mar 2023
    We are looking forward to welcoming players back into school on Monday. They will be talking to the children about their home match on Sunday 26th March at 2pm. We are supporting this match and we will be offered discounted tickets; we hope to see
    lots of families there!
