| The Islamic holy month of Ramadan begins on Wednesday 22 March. Ramadan is a very important time in the Islamic calendar and Muslims all over the world will be preparing to take part. During the month of Ramadan, Muslims won't eat or drink between dawn and sunset. This is called fasting. |

| Former pupil Charlie McCrum, a graduate at JCB, returned to Earlsdon Primary last Friday. We are delighted that he planted a com memorative tree to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week . |
| We are looking forward to welcoming players back into school on Monday. They will be talking to the children about their home match on Sunday 26th March at 2pm. We are supporting this match and we will be offered discounted tickets; we hope to see lots of families there! |
| We really enjoyed working with our STEM partner last Friday, as part of our ongoing partnership project with the Royal Society. The children learnt more about the techniques and benefits of edible living walls and sowed lots of edible seeds ready to be planted out later in the Spring. |
| Thank you for your support and generosity with this national fundraising event. The children look so colourful in school today and have been learning about Comic Relief and the work that it does to support charities in the UK and further afield. |
