We were invited by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust to
showcase our Romeo and Juliet dance performances at
the new Coventry train station and at the Central
Library. Everyone was very impressed with how well our Year 6
pupils performed.
Many thanks to Ascension Dance for working with us on
this exciting project!
On Tuesday some of our pupils represented the school at a sports tournament at Grangehurst Primary School. They had great
fun taking part in a wide range of activities including boccia, tennis, cycling and dance. Well done to all the children for representing
the school so well.
We have a range of pre-loved uniform available to support
families and will be establishing regular opportunities for
parents to access this at the end of the school day – more
information will follow shortly.
If you have any uniform requests prior to or between
uniform sales, please use the parent email to let us know
the clothing and sizes that you require. We will then ensure
they are available for you to collect from the school office.
Thank you
Thank you to all of the families who sent their children into school dressed for P.E wearing comfortable sportswear in our school colours. We are not expecting parents to spend money on labelled sportswear, but would like to respectfully remind parents and children that they should be wearing black, grey or navy shorts/ leggings/ jogging bottoms, a plain white or navy t-shirt and a plain navy or grey sweatshirt. A cheaper and more convenient option for parents may be to send their children into school wearing their normal school polo shirt and school
sweatshirt alongside plain shorts/ jogging bottoms. Thank you for your ongoing support
We are delighted to inform you that our Red Nose Day activities raised an amazing £514.43 towards this national fundraising event. Thank you very much for your generosity and for your support in making this a special day for the children in school
Thank you to the PTA for organising the successful pop up shop and thank you to the parent helpers who supported the children on Wednesday when they were shopping for gifts. The children had a lovely time and we hope they enjoy giving their gifts to
their special family members this weekend!
The children have embraced Science Week in school and had lots of opportunities to think and behave like scientists. There have been some wonderful projects, inspired by a wide range of scientific interests, which have sparked curiosity across the
school. All year groups have responded to the curious question of 'Do longer legs jump further?' by planning and carrying out an investigation; the results were interesting and led to a
range of conclusions
| Cllr Welsh and Cllr Sandhu visited the school on Thursday and met with pupils to learn about our Commonwealth Games project. They were very impressed with the pupils' enthusiasm and engagement with the Games. |
