  • Autumn Parent Meetings

    Sat 02 Oct 2021

Unfortunately we are not yet able to welcome parents into school and as a result the Spring term parents
consultations will take place over the phone rather than face to face. These telephone meetings for the
children in year 1– year 6 are planned over two weeks: 11th October—21st October. The Reception parent
/ teacher meetings will take place in November and the dates and more information will be sent to parents
    later this half term.
The school office will send out an email next week inviting you to book an appointment using the online
booking system. Appointments will last 10 minutes and class teachers will be calling parents from a mobile
phone which may register on your screen as an unknown number– please look out for this around the time
of your appointment. The meetings will focus on how well your child/ children have settled into their new
classes this term and will also provide the opportunity for you to ask questions or clarify anything you are
    unsure of.

  • Coventry City of Culture called Plot 17.

    Mon 27 Sep 2021

Year 5 and 6 were very lucky to have been able to take part in a touring show as part of Coventry City of Culture called Plot 17.

Plot 17 is a production by Apples & Snakes and is a hip-hop garden show hosted by underground hip-hop hero Kenny Baraka AKA The Green Man and DJ Conrad Kira. The children enjoyed dancing and rapping along with Kenny as they worked to save the environment one track at a time.

  • Routines

    Mon 27 Sep 2021

Thank you for your patience as we try to improve and embed the current routines.
We would like to thank parents for waiting patiently in the local area before the school gate opens and remind
the small minority of parents who aren’t following the routines, to be respectful of others and wait until it is their
turn to enter the school site. We recognise that the site is very busy at the end of the day and that parents are
being very supportive and respectful of the current routines and others within our school community– thank you
    for your understanding.
    Morning routines
 We will continue to open the gate at 8.40am so the children can wait on the path rather than on the street
    outside school.
 At 8.45am the children will start to go into school and parents should continue to walk around the school
building exiting through the car park. The gate will close at 9am.
Routines at the end of the day
 At 3.05pm we will open the gate and ask parents of Reception children to queue next to the school building.
Parents of Year 1 and Year 2 children should queue next to the school fence and collect their children from
    the playground.
 Children from Year 3– Year 5 should be collected from the playground at 3.15pm.
 Please help us by collecting your child/ children and leaving the site promptly, following the one way system.
 If you have collected a younger child and are waiting to collect a child from Key Stage 2, please stand close to
the school building so that the walkway around school remains as clear as possible.
We continue to follow the LA and Public Health England advice and ask that parents help to keep our school community safe by wearing a face covering on the school site. Thank you for your ongoing support
