  • Sun Safety

    Fri 11 Jun 2021

The children have enjoyed playing together in the beautiful sunshine this week, however we would like to remind parents to ensure that they come to school with a named sunhat. In addition we would like to request that sun cream is applied at home in the
morning before the start of the school day. Thank you

  • Refugee Week

    Fri 11 Jun 2021

Next week is Refugee week, which is a UK-wide festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of
refugees and people seeking sanctuary. The theme this year is 'We Cannot Walk Alone' which reflects the message in Martin Luther King's famous historic speech. The children will be taking part in 'simple acts' which are everyday actions like singing a song, playing a game or reading a book that we can all do to stand with refugees and make new connections. We will also be taking part in a virtual chat session with a refugee speaker from Amnesty International- we hope that the small things we can do together can be the start of a bigger change

worries now and in the future, your child does not need to be experiencing difficulties with anxiety to take part.
