A big ‘well done’ to all of the Earlsdon catering staff team who
received a 5 Star Rating from the recent Environmental Health Inspection. Our kitchen team work very hard behind the scenes to ensure that our children are fed not only well but safely.
We are really proud of all they do!

  • Learning Platform

    Wed 13 Apr 2022

We are no longer using the J2E learning platform to share children’s home learning activities– the children’s current homework will be shared through their green
home learning books. During the summer term we will be establishing a new learning platform and
    will provide more information

  • Pre-loved Uniform

    Wed 13 Apr 2022

Preloved uniform will be available at the front of the school/ school garden for parents to access, browse and buy on Friday 29th April from 2.30pm. Please come along and stock up on spare sweatshirts, cardigans and other items of uniform. • Green Day April 29th 2022

    Wed 13 Apr 2022

Children are invited to come to school on Friday 29th April wearing something green where possible- please do not go out and buy green clothing just for this day in school. Rather than donating £1, we would really appreciate donations of:

     Indoor plants
     Outdoor plants
     Herbs
     Seed packets
     Wildflower seeds
     Compost
     Windchimes
 Suet balls or bird seed (no nuts)

These donations will help maintain and develop our green areas inside school, the school garden and on the playground. We are planning on creating a sensory garden area that children can access at playtimes and lunchtimes, which will help increase biodiversity on the playground and will have a positive impact on children’s wellbeing and enhance their connection with nature

  • Book Fair

    Wed 13 Apr 2022

We are looking forward to welcoming the Scholastic book fair
back to school at the beginning of the Summer term. Please
look out for the letter providing more information about this event

  • Ramadam and Easter

    Wed 13 Apr 2022

Saturday 2nd April marked the start of Ramadan, where
Muslims dedicate themselves to spiritual renewal, prayer
and devotional reading of the Qur'an. During the month
of Ramadan Muslims are required to fast from daybreak
    until after sunset.

During the holidays, Christians will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday. This important Christian
festival incorporates many traditions, such as the giving of
chocolate eggs to symbolise the gift of new life

  • Easter Competition

    Wed 13 Apr 2022

Well done to the children from Breakfast and After School Club
who have participated in the Co-op Easter colouring competition– what a beautiful display in the Co-op shop window!

  • Take Two

    Wed 13 Apr 2022

Congratulations to our Welcome Committee for planning class assemblies to explain our Take Two Arts Council Collection project to all of the children and staff. Everyone has had a chance
to vote for their two favourite art works and we will announce which two were selected at the start of next term. We are excited about having the artwork exhibited at
    Earlsdon!

  • Easter Holiday Activity

    Wed 13 Apr 2022

If the children have a spare hour or two during the school holidays we would like to invite families to have a go at making something to go into our school garden or into our planned
sensory garden. As the objects will be going outside, they will need to be waterproof, durable and resilient to all weathers. In addition we would like to encourage the children to use recycled items, where possible, to make their garden decorations.
If making a bird feeder, please do not include seed; we have a supply of nutfree seed in school
