  • Staffing Update

Due to ongoing health issues we are saying farewell to Mrs
Griffiths this week. Mrs Griffiths has taught at Earlsdon for 20
years and has enjoyed working with many children, families
and colleagues. We wish her a healthy and happy future.
We are also saying farewell to Miss James who has worked in
the after school club for the last 5 years. We wish her every
    happiness in her future endeavours.

  • Dodgeball

Congratulations to our dodgeball team who represented the school at a School Games tournament on Monday. Their behaviour
was exemplary, and they demonstrated our school value of respect throughout the competition. They were delighted to be bronze medal winners. Well done!

  • Pop Up Library

  • Poppies

    Mon 30 Oct 2023
Thank you to everyone who completed the homework project
and made poppies for our school display– we were delighted
to receive so many. Thank you also to Mrs Francis for sup
porting this project and using the poppies to create two beautiful wreaths which will be displayed outside school. We also
have a display in the main school entrance area.

As an Eco-School we would like to support Toys 4 Life to
    recycle and reuse unwanted toys.

Please can you bring in any donations of unwanted toys on
Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th November and leave them in
a bag in the main school reception area, ready for collection on Wednesday 8th November. Thank you.

  • Indian Dance Club

    Tue 24 Oct 2023
We have had several requests for a Key Stage 1 dance club and we are delighted that Caste Away Arts have now started an after

the dance teacher was very impressed with the pupils and she praised their focus and excellent behaviour

  • Reception PJ PARTY

    Tue 24 Oct 2023
Thank you to our PTA for organising the first social event of the year for our Reception class. Reception children enjoyed a lively
and fun pyjama party after school on Tuesday. Thanks also to Drama Tots for making this such a lovely event

  • Harvest

    Tue 24 Oct 2023

Harvest Festival. Thank you for your generosity—we were able to make a huge donation to the Cheylesmore Food Hub.

They were thrilled and sent an email of thanks, some of
    which is copied below:

We've been blown away with your kindness. We can't begin to
tell you what a difference this makes, especially when our store
cupboard is looking bare. The generosity from all of you who
donated does translate to the individuals and families we sup
port, making them feel cared for and seen as a result, which is
    so important.

However as we are all too aware the cost of living crisis is no
where near over and there is still a huge need to support one
another. We anticipate another big increase in our member
ship and far more emergency parcels needed with people coming from all over the city, so we need your help more than ever…

To all of you at Earlsdon Primary School, thank you so very
much for the wonderful support you've given us, we cannot
    thank you enough.

Thank you also to Rev. Tulo who joined us in school on Tues
day and led our Harvest assemblies

  • Football

    Mon 16 Oct 2023

Well done to our Year 5 and 6 boys football team who took part in a friendly tournament with four local schools on Thursday. All boys played well and showed resilience and good team spirit.
