On Thursday 23rd Reception children will be taking part in Elmer day, so they are invited to wear multicoloured clothes to school to celebrate 35 years of Elmer. We welcome the rest of the children to wear comfy clothes for Book Trust and can bring their favourite book to school, to share with their peers. £1.00 donations will be going to our charity of choice.

  • Flame of Friendship

    Fri 02 Jul 2021

The children enjoyed a fun afternoon on Thursday when we welcomed the Olympic torch to our school. The classes have been learning about the Olympic Games, the Olympic values and making flags from the countries that will be competing in the Games. This Olympic celebration culminated in the children lining the streets and the school site to celebrate the arrival of the 1948 torch; there was lots of cheering chanting and the passing
traffic and pedestrians even joined in!

  • Returning reading books

    Fri 02 Jul 2021

As we are approaching the end of term we would like to request that all reading books are returned to school by Friday 9th July which will allow us to audit our current resources and order new reading books where necessary. We are aware, that due to lockdown and remote learning, some families may have a bank of books carefully stored away, and we would like to request that these are now returned to school.

Once families have handed in reading books please continue to access the online reading schemes:
