| Congratulations to all pupils in Year 4 for taking part in the LTA Monster Smash tennis tournament. The children had to complete a wide range of tennis and boccia challenges. We were very impressed with their excellent sporting attitudes and fantastic tennis and boccia skills. |
| Well done to all of the children who contributed to our poppy display again this year– it looks beautiful. A huge thank you to the group of parents who worked creatively to put the display together and fund some of the materials for the silhouette of the solider. Thank you |
| We are delighted to have been selected to host a Coventry Peace Festival event this year. On Friday 12th November 10am - 12noon we will be opening our Peace Garden at the front of school to the wider community. Visitors will be invited to come into our garden and enjoy a moment of peace. Please note that we will be limiting the number of visitors to ensure everyone's safety. |
| In October, some pupils in Year 2 and Year 6 took part in a City of Culture design competition. Their brief was to design a shop window that reflected their hopes for the city in the future. We were thrilled to learn that Mili in Year 2 was the overall winner of the Key Stage 1 competition and that architects will be using her design to create a city centre shop window early next year. Many congratulations also to Lucy for coming second in the Key Stage 1 competition and to Elmas for coming second in the Key Stage 2 competition. We are very proud of the children for this fantastic achievement. |
