We are pleased to be welcoming the book fair back to
school from 8th– 22nd November. A separate letter has
been sent home this week providing information and
the timetable when each year group will visit the book
fair to browse and buy books. The letter explained that
the children can pay for their chosen books using cash or downloadable vouchers and that this should be placed in a sealed and named envelope. Thank you for your support with this school event
Our school opened on the current site on 7th November 1890. During a recent assembly the children learnt about the history of our school and about influential people who have made a positive contribution to society through music, the Arts, sport, social justice, science, environmental issues etc. The children have been invited to research and/ or dress up as an inspirational person from a hundred years ago or from modern times and share what they have learnt with their classmates on Monday. We are looking forward to learning from each other during our history day but wish to stress that dressing up is optional |
We are very proud of our dodgeball team who came first in the School Games competition. They are now through to the county finals. Well done to all the children in the team who represent ed the school so well |

weeks.
Some Year 2 pupils had a fantastic time at a Monster Smash tennis and boccia tournament that we jointly led at Grangehurst Primary School on Tuesday. This will be followed up by a block of tennis sessions that we will be hosting at Earlsdon |
