Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic introduction to engineering morning
at Warwick University this week. They learnt how to think like
engineers and they took part in several practical challenges.
The university were very impressed with their engagement
and problem solving abilities.
Monday 13th November marks the start of Anti Bullying Week and this year’s theme is ‘Make a Noise about Bullying’. We are inviting the children to wear odd socks to school on Monday to celebrate what makes us all unique. (If your child wears tights to school,
we would like to encourage them to pop their odd socks on top
of their tights!).
We would like to say a very big thank you to Fusion
Sport for their generous donation of fifty footballs to the school.
As part of Coventry's Peace Festival, we were delighted to
welcome Marc Gwamaka to the school. Marc is responsible for
youth leadership programmes in Rwanda for the Aegis Trust.
Marc met with children and discussed the importance of being
a peacemaker. Marc is delivering the Lord Mayor's Peace Lecture
on Friday at St Mary's Guildhall.
